*DISCLAIMER- If you are a coach with multiple teams, and the Spring League ends up having multiple locations, Hannah will try her best to make sure your teams don't run into each other on the schedule. This may mean that you will have to play opposite divisions (morning or afternoon) to make the schedules work. If Hannah has to put you at opposite locations, she will make sure you have plenty of time to get from one location to another.*

Age Groups:  
9-10  /  11-12  / 13-14 / 15-17  
            (All Divisions may be made up of Boys, Girls, or Co-Ed) 

Roster Limit: 
8-10 Players per Team.
Birthday Cutoff:  
April 1st, 2017 (Player's age as of 4/1/17 is the division child is eligible for)

Registration Fee: 

$100 per child (Early bird discount- January 9, 2017 – January 29, 2017)
$110 per child (Regular Registration- January 30, 2017 – February 19, 2017)
There is a late registration fee ($10) if signed up after the deadline (only one week for late sign ups)
(We will not accept any more sign-ups after February 27, 2017)

Birth Certificate: 
*NEW* The website now allows parents to upload birth certificates to the website. The League Administrator will verify all birth certificates, and the certificate will be deleted for security purposes. *ALL PARENTS MUST DO THIS THE NEXT SEASON THEY SIGN UP.* Have Birth Certificate on hand.

-Includes NFL reversible game jersey, flag belt & NFL certificate of participation & Team Football

Game Format: 
5 on 5 Flag. (No blocking, No contact)
(2) 24 minute halves; One game every week
2 USFTL Sanctioned Referees per game

60 yds x 25 yds

Mandatory Football:  
Sizes per NFL Flag
(Junior Football: 9/10, 11/12, 13/14, & 15-17 divisions)

USFTL Referees:  
USFTL prides itself in using only trained & certified USFTL Officials


Youth Coaches Needed!!!

Please contact the USFTL office if you are interested in becoming a USFTL Youth Flag Football Coach or Assistant Coach! As a coach, your name will need to be added to the NFL Flag website. 

Coaches check list:

  • Attend Mandatory Coaches' Clinic () 

  • Communicate with USFTL via email

  • Conduct practices  (suggested one to two per week)

  • Contact team parents about upcoming games & news

  • Read and understand the Protest Procedure.

  • Must read, sign & return Coaches' Code of Conduct by Monday March 27, 2017.  Can be returned via or fax 440-974-8441.

  • Must complete the Heads Up Online Training Course and send the completed certificate to or fax 440-974-8441 by Monday March 27, 2017.

  • Make sure sportsmanship & safety is upheld at all times (Please look at Principles for Coaching)

  • Please note: We do accept NFL team requests for jerseys.  However, they are NOT guaranteed and are subject to NFL Warehouse availability.  The USFTL office reserves the right to choose a NFL team based on current NFL Warehouse Availability.
