Age Groups:    5-6 /  7-8  /  9-11  /  12-14  / 15-17 

  *4 year-old (Toddler Division)- If you are registering your child in the toddler division; please include that in the online registration form or email usftl@usftl.com

Birthday Cutoff:  April 1st, 2012 (Player's age as of 4/1/12 is the division child is eligible for)

Registration Fee:  $95 per child (if registered on or before 2/12/12)
                                            $105 per child 

(Includes NFL reversible game jersey, flag belt & NFL certificate of participation & Team Football)

Registration Fee Deadline: Monday, March 12th, 2012

Game:  5 on 5 Flag. (No blocking, no contact)
                 (2) 12 minute halves; Double-headers every week
                  2 USFTL Sanctioned Referees per game (1 Referee per game in 5/6 Division)

Field Size:   60yds x 25 Yards

Mandatory Football:  Junior size ball

USFTL Referees:  USFTL prides itself in using only trained & certified USFTL Officials

(All Divisions may be made up of Boys, Girls, or Co-Ed EXCEPT the 15-17 age division)

All boys & girls must be signed up as individual players to be randomly drafted to teams based on age & ratings.

(Pre-Existing Teams allowed, with discretion of League Directors)

(The online registration must be done through NFL Flag, it will require parents to set up an account. This only needs to be done the FIRST time you are registering your child.)

Steps for registering:

1. Either Log In or Make an account on NFL Flag by clicking on “CREATE ACCOUNT” 
(This is a one-time process) Make sure to remember your username & password so you will not have to make another account in the future!

2. Fill out all information (parent info NOT player; For Example: parent’s name, birthday, etc.) and click “CREATE ACCOUNT”

3. Go to “ADD PLAYER” and fill out registration (parent & player information needed) – 
You can put the teammate requests in the teammate request box as well as the comments box.

4. This will take you to the PayPal page where you can either pay with PayPal or 
select to do a Non-PayPal payment with a credit card (the option to pay with credit card not using PayPal is found on the bottom left-hand side on the payment page).

You will receive a confirmation email from NFL Flag as well as the information that PayPal sends.

Youth Coaches Needed!!!

Please contact the USFTL office if you are interested in becoming a USFTL Youth Flag Football Coach or Assistant Coach! As a coach, your name will need to be added to the NFL Flag website. 

Coaches must do list:

  • Attend Ratings Day

  • Communicate with USFTL via email

  • Conduct practices

  • Contact team players about upcoming games & news

  • Make sure sportsmanship & safety is upheld at all times (Please look at Principles for Coaching)
